You know you are living poor when you only have 3 forks, 3 spoons, and no butter knives. If I ever get a plastic knife from a fast food restaurant, I save it and use it until it breaks or wears down. Well, I finally went to Ikea to get a butter knife. Guess what? They don't sell them by themselves. You have to buy a pack of 10. Well, I don't even have 1, and now they think I'll need 10?! WTF. So I didn't buy them. My parents said they are gonna send me one of their butter knives. It was embarrassing to ask. But now I won't have to spread hummus or butter on my toast with the back of a spoon! Hurray!

Okay, let's give some good news. Girls Aloud have announced a week ago that they are releasing one of their best songs ever as their next single. Untouchable. I am excited AND nervous because the song is almost 7 minutes long and I am worried the song will be butchered in radio edits. But it will be really awesome to have a music video for this song.

I cannot get a new Blogger Template that I like. If I find one online that I love, it won't work or there is some sort of problem with it!!!!!

I'm student teaching in a Kindergarten classroom. I've never been so sleep deprived, stressed, sick, and tired as I am now. I am not sure how teachers do this full time (I'm only there 4 hours a day)! I've got nasty snot coming out of my body and clogged ears. And at night my voice goes away due to it. Fun TIMES! But seriously, this had made me reconsider my career choice. I'll probably end up manager of Hertz or U-Haul.

Girls aloud won their first Brit award today for Best Single. I am so happy for them. Maybe now they will tell us what the next single is gonna be?

On Tuesday I was driving on the highway to get to school and I was behind an SUV. They had two McCain bumper stickers on either side of the back window, a bunch of other stickers that I didn't recognize and one bumper sticker on the bottom of the window that read, "Give War a Chance" (basically mocking the "Give Peace a Chance" sticker that many people have). I just can't believe some people.

A few weeks ago, I was in the elevator in the apartment complex where my boyfriend lives. Someone came into the elevator and I said hello to be nice. He didn't even respond. So we stood in awkward silence for 3 floors until I finally escaped into the parking garage. Now, back in the old days, they played music in the elevator. Of course, it was really boring music and "elevator music" became a term people used when referring to bland, boring music. So they just took music out of elevators altogether, out of embarrassment. But this was a mistake. Silence in the elevator is way worse, I think. The supplier of elevator music, Muzak, just filed for bankruptcy today. Sadly, looks like the silent elevator will reign supreme.

Is going to be on the next Dancing With the Stars. I just hope she doesn't retire from gymnastics. I hope she tries for the Worlds in London this October.

So my roommate is finally watching Lost for the first time. She started at noon today and is still watching, as of midnight. So I decided (while waiting for the tv to be free so I can watch my TIVO'd Jeopardy) that I would look up "The 10 Best Characters on Lost" according to this website.

5th Best Lost Character: Desmond Hume
If you want to make Lost a lot more enjoyable this is what I suggest you do. Print out a picture of Desmond. Then print out a picture of Penny. Every time the Jack/Juliet or Kate/Sawyer relationships come up in an episode tape Desmond's face on Jack/Sawyer and tape Penny's face on Juliet/Kate. Penny and Desmond is the real love story on Lost. Plus, he can see the future.

Haha I totally agree. I only care about the love story between Desmond and Penelope.

S Club 7, or should I say S Club 5?, are planning a reunion tour for May and June this year!! There will only be 5 original members, as Hannah Spearritt and Rachel Stevens don't want to do it! Of course they won't come to the States, but I would love to see them. I love their happy pop music, it's a guilty pleasure. They will release a greatest hits album May 25 called Ain't No Party: The Ultimate Collection of S Club 7. Jo, Bradley, and Paul have already done a few shows as a trio late last year.
